„The house was bright, light, and clean with an overall white theme (walls and floor tiles) highlighted by honey-coloured cupboards, shelves, tables, chairs, and wood trim. The kitchen and bedrooms were well supplied with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, bedding, linens, etc. The many knick-knacks and paintings on the shelves and walls gave a comfortable "lived-in" feel to the house.
The large bathroom had a hand-held shower in the bathtub that was a little inconvenient to use; a wall mount to hold the shower head would be an improvement. However the water was hot and plentiful.
The three of us (all adults) only needed to use two of the 4 bedrooms, but it was convenient to use an extra bedroom as a clothes closet and the loft was warm and handy for drying clothes.
The house location is ideal: almost at the end of a dead-end street (so virtually no passing traffic); just a 2-minute walk from the Svet (a lake-sized carp pond) and also from Zameky Park (the "English" park that separates the residential area of Trebon from the chateau and old town). A bakery is located a 5-minute walk in the other direction.
Although we do not speak Czech and Lenka, who was our contact for keys, did not speak much English, we could communicate well enough to understand everything we needed to know about the house.
We would stay there again if we return to Bohemia.“
