Hindemae Mølle ist eine alte Schlossmühle, die bis 2003 zum Herrenhof Hindemae gehörte, der nur 500 m von der Mühle entfernt steht und Eigentum der Familie Juel-Brockdorff war. Die Mühle war die größte Mühle Dänemarks als sie gebaut wurde. 2004 wurde sie renoviert und zum Ferienobjekt umgestaltet. Die Einrichtung und die Möbel wurden in einem Stil gehalten, der zur Geschichte der Mühle passt. Die Mühle steht in einem Park-ähnlichen Garten mit vielen ungestörten Sitzplätzen. Das Vorderzimmer im Erdgeschoss wurde zum Wohnraum, der mit seiner runden Form und dem Holzofen fast einem Rittersaal ähnelt und bestimmt der Mittelpunkt vieler schöner Abende wird. In der Garage steht eine Tischtennisplatte und im Garten steht ein Trampolin (Nutzung auf eigene Gefahr) für die Aktiven bereit. Der Außenpool steht ca. 5 m neben dem Hauptgebäude. Der Pool ist nicht überdacht und nicht erwärmt und kann im Zeitraum vom 01. Juni bis 01. Oktober genutzt werden. Die Sauna befindet sich in der Garage. Die Lage der Mühle auf Ost-Fünen eignet sich gut als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge. Es gibt ganze 124 Schlösser und Herrenhöfe auf der Insel, u.a. Egeskov Slot mit seinem faszinierenden Garten, Ausstellungen und einem Bambus Labyrinth.

    „Hindemae is a lovely place,and we did have a lovely time. However, when we arrived we were not able
    to open the front door. After about an hour and a half, help arrived to let us in. The cleaning of
    the house was, I am afraid appalling. The wing had not been cleaned at all after the previous
    guests. The bath was dirty as well as the loo, the wast paper baskets were not emptied, the floor
    and carpets were not hoovered, in fact it was very disappointing. The table in the kitchen had
    crumbs from other people's breakfast, the fridge had not been cleaned properly.This was all sorted
    out and cleaned by two very nice and efficient girls, but not until Monday. The pool was filthy with
    slim on the bottom. It had obviously not been cleaned for several weeks. We could not let the
    children get in till it eventually was cleaned on Tuesday, by which time we were almost half way
    through our stay.
    The very nice handy man gardener took photographs of the mess as did the girls who came to clean the
    house. In fact I am going to ask you for a substantial refund, as this house was not left as I am
