Corchiano Etruscan territory. VILLA IRIS is on the outskirts of Corchiano, that can be reached also on foot with an easy walk, so it is not necessary to have a car. In the area, which is at the feet of the Cimini mountains, several Etruscan tombs have been found. Important archaeological finds can be admired in the museum of Villa Giulia in Rome and in the museum of Forte Sangallo in Civita Castellana.
