This quietly situated Swedish villa is by the Lilla Kvarnsjön lake, in the Västergötland region, near the town of Svenljunga. The house is surrounded by a 6000m² forested area. You will barely notice the neighbours, as the nearest houses are about 400 metres away.
The holiday house provides 110m² of living space for up to eight people, so that two families can spend their holidays together. There are two big double bedrooms, one of which is on the upper floor. It has a double bed with two single mattresses (90 x 200cm and 80 x 200cm) and a cot can be added to the room. The other double bedroom is on the ground floor and also has a double bed with separate single mattresses (each 90 x 200cm). The ground floor and upstairs also each have a smaller bedroom with a single bed (90 x 200cm). There are mattresses (90 x 200cm) for two further guests, with portable bases to raise them from the ground, which can be set up in any of the bedrooms. The kitchen has modern electrical appliances, including an oven, an electric stove, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a microwave, coffee machine, toaster, mixer and kettle. You can spend cosy evenings by the fireplace, which separates the kitchen and the living room from each other visually, and watch satellite TV. There is also a radio. The larger bedroom downstairs has a second TV without satellite channels, but with a DVD player. The living room has comfortable seating and a dining space for all guests. Each floor has a bathroom. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, while the other has a shower. All the rooms have electric heating. Wi-Fi is available on request and for an extra fee depending on the usage (5 GB for one week or 30 GB for four weeks at a reduced price).
You can spend your well-deserved free days on the terrace and on the big forested site, in blissful peace and quiet and with a view of the lake. You can relax and grill in the evening after exciting day trips. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to see and elk family that sometimes passes through, especially in the evening. Deer also sometimes run across the site. There are three parking spaces by the house.

The lake is an 80-metre walk away. If you walk about 400 metres further you get to a larger lake, with a pretty swimming spot. In summer you can use a rowing boat on the big lake. There are four life jackets in the house. You can go for long walks in the idyllic surroundings. It is not far to Göteborg, about an hour’s drive, or to Jönköpping, about the same distance. The nearby Baltic Sea coast and the skerry coast that starts below Göteborg are also within easy access. Many wonderful lakes are waiting to be explored. You may spot one on arrival near Holsjunga. Do not miss going on a trip to Ullared, where a special shopping experience awaits you. It is worth planning in a day for this. In winter you can ski in Isaberg. This ski resort, also with snow cannons, has descents of various difficulty levels. It is about a 40-minute drive away. In Svenljunga 9km away you can find a big supermarket, some specialist shops, a post office, banks and also, if required, medical services.
