The house by Mittelsee above Tiefensee in the Brandenburg area is to the north-east of Berlin in the Gamengrund landscape reserve by the B158 above Tiefensee, right between the lakes Gamensee and Mittelsee. The house is on a 7000m² site in a quiet forest right by Mittelsee.
We recommend the in-house café, which offers homemade cake, ice cream and coffee specialities, as well as various midday menus, Bohemian draught beer, and breakfasts (to be ordered).
It is possible to play table tennis and to grill. Owing to the location outside of the locality, note that the last 300 metres of the road are not asphalted.
The surrounding forest is ideal for hiking and lakes along the way invite you to go swimming and are popular among fishing enthusiasts. Popular trip destinations nearby include Berlin, the Schorfheide biosphere reserve, Oderbruch, Chorin monastery, Eberswalder Zoo, as well as the Niederfinow lift lock and the Polish border, to name just a few examples. All of these are within around 20-30km.
