Traditional stone house with garden and pool
The Istrian house is in the little village of Rakalj on the west coast of the Rasa bay in the south-east of Istria. It offers a beautiful landscape and sea, with plenty of sunshine, away from the overcrowded tourist resorts.
The front terrace with an awning provides a big dining table with chairs, for sitting together sociably. Two parking spaces are available.
The stone house is on two floors and can accommodate six people. The master bedroom on the first floor has a kingsize double bed (180 x 200cm) and a single bed (100 x 200cm) and a wardrobe. The second bedroom on this floor has a queensize double bed (160 x 200cm). The air-conditioned living room on the ground floor also serves as a third bedroom. It has a fireplace, satellite TV, a sofa and a bed (120 x 200cm). The ground-floor kitchen is fully-equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and dishwasher, as well as a big dining table with chairs. The bathroom consists of a shower, washbasin and toilet. Wireless Internet access is available. Owing to the walls 50cm thick, air conditioning is rarely required, even on the hottest days.
The market and restaurants are 300 metres away. The beach is about 1.2km away. There are also many beautiful beaches, which are secluded and provide privacy. The surroundings have a rich flora and fauna and are therefore ideal for hikers and hunters. Or you can visit the places of cultural and historical interest, such as the St. Agnes Church.
There is a 25m² pool with sun loungers, a parasol and seating, for shared use with the neighbouring house on the same site, as well as a 70 x 50cm stone grill. The garden can be divided by a movable fence 1.2m high, so both parts are quite independent. There is plenty of space with play equipment for children.
