This charming holiday home is set in beautiful surroundings in Ädelfors, in the north of Småland. The well-equipped cottage features a sauna and has a large natural garden plot of 1000 square metres, and there's a good chance you'll see elk and deer on the garden plot.



Inside, you will find a large, well-equipped kitchen with a wood cooker as well as an electric cooker. The living room is large and beautifully decorated. It is equipped with a fireplace, a TV, a DVD-player, and a sofa bed for two. The master bedroom features a double bed and the smaller bedroom has a bunk bed. Ther cottage has two bathrooms, both have WC:s and washbasins, one has a shower and the other bathroom has a bath tub. The sauna is next to the shower room.



The area is well-known for it's old goldmine which is located 2 kilometres from the cottage. This was one of Sweden's very first goldmines. You can try your hand at panning for gold in the river Emån in Ädelfors. There's also a mining museum in Ädelfors, it has one of Sweden's best collections of minerals from all of the world. The mine Kleva Gruva is 13 kilometres away and is from the late 1600's.



Småland offers many interesting places suitable for day trips. The charming town of Vimmerby is only 1 hour away, by car. This area is the setting of many of Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books such as Emil of Lönneberga. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The town of Kalmar is another great destination for an excursion. It is set by Kalmarsund and you can drive right over the bridge to the charming island of Öland.

    “Das Haus liegt sehr schön, es gibt direkt am bzw. hinter dem Haus Wanderwege. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Küche verfügt über eine gute Ausstattung, nur der Toaster ist ein wenig defekt. Nach dem ersten Toasten muss man ihn festhalten. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch der Kamin. Trotz der sehr winterlichen Temperaturen war es angenehm warm im Haus, es ist winterfest.”

    “Das Haus liegt sehr schön abgeschieden, also wenn man Ruhe möchte, ist man dort genau richtig. Wir waren 2 Personen und hatten unsere 2 Hunde mit. Und es war genug Platz für alle. Die Einrichtung ist absolut ausreichend. Man findet alles, was zu einem normalen Haushalt dazu gehört. Das Mobiliar ist auch in Ordnung. Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein sehr angenehmer Urlaub.”

    “Haus in unseren Augen, sehr empfehlenswert. Es ist sauber, gepflegt und von A - wie Aluminiumfolie bis Z - wie Zewa war alles vorhanden. Die Fotos sind aktuell, hier wird nicht gemogelt. Super ruhige Lage und herzliche, sehr nette, hilfsbereite Vermieter. Wir und unsere Kinder (8 Jahre) hatten hier eine tolle Woche und überlegen bereits wiederzukommen.
    Bei gutem Wetter haben die Kinder draußen genug Freiraum zum spielen und für Regen gibt es Bücher, teilweise auch Spiele, bzw. die Sauna, Fernseher mit Video- und DVD-Player. TV hat einen USB-Anschluss, man kann also auch selber Geräte anschließen.”
