Los Perales consisten en dos casas rurales, una abajo y otra arrba, El Peral, 77 mts2 (abajo) y El Castaño 79 mts2(arriba). Fueron reconstruidas a partir de unos cuartos de labranza muy antiguos pudiendo aprovechar algunas paredes y techos, como por ejemplo el techo de el dormitorio de El Peral. En la reconstrucción se emplearon materiales de calidad y actuales lo que da un toque de confort a ambas casas. Tienen una terraza muy amplia donde se puede disfrutar de un buen descanso y unas grandiosas vistas y atardeceres. Hay una barbacoa común para ambas casas.

Los Perales is a rural single structure building with two floors, El Castaño (top-floor) and El Peral (ground-floor), located in a privileged area in the town of “El Mocanal”, in the north of the Island El Hierro; the smallest of the Canary Islands.
You can enjoy, surrounded by a rural area and in the silence of nature, the beautiful sea views, as well as the sight of la isla de La Palma. The houses are toward to the north side of the island, and over 450 metres above the sea level, where you can also have the pleasure of a pleasant climate all the year through.
El Peral and El Castaño are located five minutes, by car, from Valverde, the capital of the Island and also near footpaths, where you can enjoy long walks.
Both houses are wholy renovated and opened in the middle of 2010, keeping the typical style of El Hierro.
El Castaño and El Peral have a double room each (El Castaño with a double bed and El Peral with two single beds) and both with a double settee-bed in the saloon. Both houses are wholy furniture with a very lightfull and modern bathroom, kitchen-dining room lounge full of light. They also have internet conection, Wifi, TV, music kit, etc.
In the outside of both houses, you can also enjoy furnished terrace with BBQ and lookout.

    “Sehr freundlicher und zuverlässiger Vermieter, der uns auch spät in der Nacht am verabredeten Ort erwartete. Sehr schönes Haus, geräumig, sehr sauber, toller Blick nach Norden, günstig in El Mocanal gelegen, insbesondere zur guten Bar La Penultima, wo es Wifi gibt. Gastfreundlich, viele Katzen in der Umgebung und unsynchronisiert krähende Hähne (Aktivitätsmaximum 4-6 Uhr). Absolut empfehlenswert.
    Nachteil: Im Haus gibt es leider keine Internet-Verbindung (trotz gegenteiliger Angabe). Terrasse während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht benutzbar, zu kalt (12-16°C, windig). Stereoanlage nicht vorhanden (El Castano, haben wir aber auch nicht vermisst).”

Wir bedauern sehr, dass das Wetter, das in diesem Jahr unnormal ist, beo Ihrem Aufenthalt nicht kooperiert hat und dass das Internet nicht zu Ihrer Zufriedenheit war, es ist ein Gebiet mit schlechter Abdeckung, wir versuchen dieses Problem mit der Telefonleitung, die ein schlechtes Signal in El Hierro liefert, zu lösen. Sentimos mucho que el clima, que este año está siendo anormal, no haya colaborado en su estancia así como que internet no estuviera a la altura, es una zona de poca cobertura, intentamos solucionar este problema con la línea telefónica que suministra la señal en El Hierro, sin éxito. Esperamos y deseamos poderle atender en una próxima visita a El Hierro ya con los problemas solucionados. Atentamente”

    “We liked El Castaño very much. Good taste all over the house inside and outside, good beds, a kitchen with all you needed for cooking, heating for cold evenings, a nice yard with view to the ocean, from the windows, too. Everything is nice and clean, and a bottle of local wine and fruits on the table to welcome us. The householder was there to show us the house at the arrival, and she was helpful all along. Only 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, and to the bus stop.”
